Atlantic City Weekly (blog) Caesars Atlantic City, the Wild Wild
West casino at Bally's Atlantic City and Harrah's, where the
machines were first introduced, have removed the machines. The

Hard Rock International is now the owner of the former Trump Taj
Mahal casino of Atlantic City and the company has plans to unveil what
they will be doing to their new property this week. The Taj Mahal was
closed back in October by its then owner Carl Icahn after a long-running
dispute with union workers over the restoration of pension benefits and
health insurance. Icahn then debated what he would do with the
property, eventually selling to Hard Rock in early March.
Hard Rock International still interested in northern New Jersey
casino. Hard Rock International was just announced as the new buyer of
Carl Icahn’s Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, and yet the
company still has their eyes on the northern New Jersey market.
According to CEO Jim Allen, Hard Rock International is still committed
to creating a casino at the Meadowlands Racetrack if a change in the law
were allowed by voters to approve gaming in the area.
Ex Atlantic City casino to become a water park. The Atlantic Club,
one of the first Atlantic City casinos to throw in the towel among the
five who closed-up shop in 2014, is about to be re-imagined as a large
indoor water park and hotel, according to official reports from the
mayor’s office and the buyers themselves. The property, which
swapped several owners in the past decades, is now to be acquired from
its current owners TJM Properties by R&R Development Group, a
company headed by Philadelphia investor Ronny Young and Robert
Reilert, a former casino exec.
Caesars Entertainment rolls out skill based video gambling machines
at all Atlantic City properties .Caesars Entertainment recently
announced that its proposed roll out of skill based video gambling
machines (VGMs) at all its Atlantic City properties has been completed
and these VGMs are now up and running at Harrah’s Resort, Caesars and
Bally’s Wild Wild West. GameCo, the creator of these skill based VGM’s,
became the first provider to recieve approval from a state regulator in
the United States.
